Welcome to Phoenix Institute! I am personally thrilled that you have decided to invest in your education through our college. 

You may notice that we seem a bit different, our policies are not "typical" (but in a good way), and we work to meet you where you are in your educational journey. We don't hold your hand, but we do try to ensure that you learn during your time with us. 

When we founded Phoenix Institute, we had a simple mission. We wanted to create a college like no other. We wanted to use the latest data on creating engaging environments, get away from the mundane standardized testing and we wanted to revitalize your learning. We hope that you find those things to be true during your time with us.

If I could encourage you in your journey, it would be to not give up and lean on your faculty and staff here at Phoenix to help you grow. Be open to new ideas, new ways of thinking and begin to feed your thirst for knowledge. 

Our goal is for you to walk away with not only a completed program, but a desire to make an impact in your community by being the best that you can be. 

If you ever find yourself in one of my courses, you will hear the phrase "Be a student of the craft." This means that you should never stop learning, never stop searching. College simply provides a small snippet of your discipline and it is just the beginning. 

We are glad to be here along this journey with you and my door is always open.
